Requirements
  • BS in engineering, robotics, computer science, or a related field
  • Experience in a technology development field/industry
  • Preference for a background in automotive, defense, aerospace, or a similar requirements-driven design industry
  • Ability to understand complex hardware/software systems and product development process
  • Familiarity with software integration and validation
  • Strong technical and non-technical communication skills
  • Be detail oriented and able to expertly bring order and organization to any team
  • Ability to handle ambiguities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Responsibilities
  • Develop and handle detailed vehicle integration and validation plans for prototypes and new vehicles; drive teams to complete to plans
  • Identify, track, and mitigate vehicle integration risks
  • Define vehicle integration and validation results, metrics and KPIs; set up mechanisms to track/report progress and performance
  • Represent vehicle integration and validation team during discussions with cross-functional collaborators; communicate progress optimally to Cruise and GM leadership
  • Conduct periodic retrospectives; continuously assess and improve process and tools

Desired Qualifications
  • Background in automotive, defense, aerospace or similar requirement-driven design industry
  • Previous hands-on experience in electronic hardware design and development
  • Experience integrating software in a complex system
  • Program / project management experience
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, SmartSheets
