  • Currently pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in biology, chemical or biochemical engineering, computer science, or other STEM related field at an accredited college or university
  • Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship/co-op with Sanofi
  • Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship
  • Must have permanent US work authorization
Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will work with their supervisor to develop ML models for different unit operations.
  • Activities include investigating how process parameters influence product quality attributes and uncertainty quantification, designing model-based DoE for model structure selection, and parameter optimization.
Desired Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of mRNA technology.
  • Experience in ML, first principle, and hybrid dynamic modeling.
  • Familiarity with mathematical software and packages (Python-sklearn, Julia, MATLAB, PYOMO, gPROMS).
