Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
Anduril builds cutting edge complex systems that need to operate in the harshest of conditions. To support our development and deployments tasks, we are expanding our Mission Simulation team in our Catalyst organization to develop and support mission-level and engagement-level simulations across the company and its products. This team creates simulation products and tools, integrates our simulations and scenarios in software-in-the-loop (SITL) environments, supports development of products in the field through live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) simulation, and collaborates with other teams in operations analysis, mission autonomy, robotics software, mission planning, and distributed simulation.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will be the lead analyst within the Mission Simulation team, developing our library of scenarios and models that will span product lines and technologies, interfacing with stakeholders across internal programs, collaborating with the Operations Analysis team, and playing a lead role to help to steer simulation development by identifying critical features and capabilities. You will leverage your knowledge and experience to increase the fidelity and realism of our simulations and scenarios and play a vital role in building SITL capabilities and coordinating LVC exercises, leaving no doubt that Anduril delivers real (not PowerPoint) capabilities to the warfighter.
You will:
- Develop mission-level and engagement-level models for movers, sensors, comms, and weapons
- Create a comprehensive collection of behaviors and tactics for a wide range of platforms
- Work closely with autonomy teams throughout the organization
- Identify key technologies and features for our simulation environments
- Help define and build SITL capabilities that leverage Mission Simulation products
- Play a vital role in coordinating and supporting LVC exercises
- Collaborate with operations analysis and internal products/programs
- Mentor other Mission Simulation team members in scenario and model development
- Be presented with opportunities to continually learn the latest technologies in autonomous combat while collaborating across teams and sharing your knowledge with others
