  • At least three years of sales/marketing experience and/or background in the agriculture industry
  • Ability to quickly assimilate a technical foundation and broad understanding of crop protection, plant-health products, and integrated pest management approaches
  • Ability to create financial models based on experience and available information
  • Fluency in at least two languages, with English being mandatory
  • Excellent communication abilities internally and with the external network
  • Ability to piece information into the big picture
  • Creative thinking to structure deals in diverse ways
Responsibilities
  • Establishment/maintenance of Key Accounts with Gowan strategic third parties
  • Maintain a positive forward-focused relationship
  • Create an annual account plan
  • Provide a cross-cutting function for Gowan Group when opportunities need to be placed into the right group
  • Ongoing discussion with Global Asset Management, Regional Marketing, and Commercial teams on portfolio management needs
  • Active solicitation to key accounts to fill gaps
  • Opportunistic license deals to acquire new/novel technologies
  • Strategic pitches to acquire new/early-stage molecules from key accounts
  • Global M&A management for crop protection segment (assets and entities)
