Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Genetics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.

Responsibilities
  • Own the value narrative and outcomes for executive leaders across the data and digital portfolio by clarifying the rationale, defining measurable outcomes, and reporting progress and value realized.
  • Translate strategy into an outcomes-based portfolio and roadmap by shaping demand into a prioritized plan that balances run and operate work, regulatory commitments, technical debt, and innovation.
  • Build measurable business cases with baselines by quantifying current-state performance, cost, and risk; defining target key performance indicators and objectives and key results; and tracking benefits realization through adoption.
  • Drive value realization using PAH domain knowledge and artificial intelligence, large language model, and emerging technologies by identifying and maturing high-impact opportunities from concept to scaled capability.
  • Ensure solutions scale as reusable capabilities by promoting platform evolution and build-once patterns, managing dependencies, and avoiding enterprise duplication.
  • Champion end-user adoption by ensuring change readiness, training and support alignment, and sustained usage to realize intended outcomes.
  • Provide matrix leadership to globally distributed technologists by aligning priorities, clarifying intent and acceptance criteria, removing blockers, and ensuring delivery achieves intended business outcomes.
  • Lead and develop Business Partner talent by coaching performance, strengthening consultative partnering, and improving executive communication.
  • Operate with financial and execution discipline by managing forecasts and budgets, surfacing tradeoffs early, and escalating risks with concise executive-ready updates.
  • Manage software spend and vendor performance while evaluating capability fit and driving sourcing decisions that balance value, risk, and total cost of ownership.
  • Plan and execute application and platform lifecycle strategies, including upgrades, modernization, deprecation, and retirement, to keep systems supported, compliant, and sustainable.
  • Own vulnerability posture reporting and remediation execution by prioritizing fixes by risk and ensuring issues are tracked to verified closure.
  • Lead VDT operational delivery and team performance across incident, problem, and change management; operating model; metrics; and continuous improvement.
  • Govern license provisioning and compliance by managing allocations, reclaiming unused entitlements, supporting renewals and audits, and optimizing utilization.
  • Own end-to-end reliability and day-to-day operations for VMRD Edge sites by coordinating changes, monitoring, incident response, and stakeholder alignment to protect scientific operations.
  • Govern and optimize the application and software portfolio by maintaining inventory, rationalizing redundancy, setting standards, and reporting portfolio health, risk, and value.
  • Lead portfolio intake and prioritization, manage cross-project dependencies and capacity, and provide governance and executive reporting across initiatives.
Desired Qualifications
  • An advanced degree, such as a Master of Business Administration or Master of Science, is preferred.
  • Experience driving artificial-intelligence and large-language-model-enabled capabilities from concept to scaled adoption with appropriate controls is preferred.
  • Familiarity with platform thinking and reusable capability design, including build-once patterns, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of service management and operational metrics for run and operate is preferred.
  • Experience in commercial organization environments and/or exposure to the genetics domain is preferred.
  • Experience leveraging shared services, such as GBS or India, and vendors to scale delivery is preferred.

Zoetis drops 40% in 2025 as Michael Burry bets on beaten-down animal health stock

Zoetis misses Q2 revenue target, slashes full-year guidance by 6.1% amid vet visit decline

Zoetis appoints GE Healthcare CFO Jay Saccaro as dual finance chief and COO

Zoetis has appointed former GE Healthcare CFO Jay Saccaro to a newly created dual role as CFO and chief operating officer, effective 17 August. Saccaro, who spent three years at GE Healthcare and nine years as CFO at Baxter International Healthcare, will receive an annual base salary of $1 million, with eligibility for bonuses totalling 100% of his salary and long-term incentives worth $5 million. He will also receive a one-time restricted stock unit award valued at approximately $6.2 million and a cash award of $1.2 million. Current CFO Wetteny Joseph will transition to special advisor on 16 August, remaining in a non-executive role until February 2027 or an earlier agreed date. The appointment comes as the New Jersey-based animal health company seeks new growth opportunities amid economic headwinds.

International markets provided growth momentum, with revenue up 6% to $1.2 billion, whilst US revenue fell 7% to $1.3 billion. Companion animal diagnostics revenue increased 12% to $118 million. For full-year 2026, Zoetis expects revenue of $9.12 billion to $9.32 billion and adjusted diluted EPS of $6.15 to $6.25.
