Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field such as architecture or engineering, and five or more years of electrical project management experience or relevant experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and field experience.
  • Strong understanding of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, engineering principles and techniques, and accounting practices.
  • Proficiency in electrical estimating, including preparing and presenting job change orders, evaluating estimates, and contributing to new estimates.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software packages, with preference for familiarity with Accubid Estimating systems.
  • Knowledge of and experience with integrated job cost systems, budgeting, report evaluations, and final costing.
  • Proficiency building critical path schedules and understanding construction sequencing across all disciplines.
  • Ability to actively engage in the construction process and accurately evaluate final cost at completion on a regular basis.
  • Ability to identify and quantify project impacts and negotiate change orders with customers.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing people and teams.
  • Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, analytical, computer, and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to changing environments and priorities.
  • Skill in eliciting cooperation from senior management and cross-functional departments.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work environment.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate on work procurement and engage in business development activities to identify new project opportunities.
  • Lead the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring safety, budget adherence, quality standards, and timely delivery.
  • Take ownership of project results and work with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timeline.
  • Communicate clear expectations to team members and stakeholders and serve as a mediator between them.
  • Proactively resolve issues and address problems throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project scope by documenting and obtaining approvals for changes through change order forms.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate project team members to foster a high-performance work environment.
  • Adhere to the PRIME Safety Program and comply with safety regulations, procedures, and safe work practices.
  • Maintain a physical presence onsite and regularly visit jobsites to oversee progress and assist the project management team as needed.
  • Supervise or coordinate the work of others assisting with specific assignments and directly supervise project staff as applicable.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with design-build delivery models is highly preferred.

Truelink Capital invests in Prime Electric to build national electrical services leader

Truelink Capital, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, has announced a significant investment in Prime Electric, a provider of electrical services operating across Northern California, Washington and Oregon. Financial terms were not disclosed. Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, Prime Electric employs 1,500 people and serves growing sectors including healthcare, biopharma, data centres and renewable energy. The company specialises in repair, installation and maintenance of electrical systems for private sector clients. Prime's management team, led by CEO Bob Ledford and Chairman Eric Reichanadter, will retain a significant ownership stake alongside existing investor WestView Capital. The investment marks Truelink's 11th platform investment since its founding in 2022.
