Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in logistics procurement or supply chain management, preferably within an international or e-commerce logistics environment.
  • Strong understanding of European transportation networks, warehousing solutions, and market dynamics.
  • Proven negotiation skills with a track record of securing cost savings and supplier performance improvements.
  • Experience in managing large-scale RFPs and contract negotiations.
  • Knowledge of procurement tools, ERP systems, and data analysis techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese; additional European languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish) are a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for transportation (road, air, ocean, and rail), warehousing, and last-mile delivery services across Europe.
  • Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and performance management to ensure cost-effectiveness, service quality, and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to inform procurement decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, supply chain, finance, and legal teams, to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with logistics service providers, negotiating favorable terms and service agreements.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining service reliability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize data analytics and procurement tools to track performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and enhance decision-making.
  • Support sustainability initiatives by incorporating environmentally responsible logistics solutions into procurement strategies.
