Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.

  • The employee must perform only duties legally permitted for unlicensed personnel under pharmacist supervision until required credentials are obtained and must timely complete and maintain all required credentials.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities
  • Perform pharmacy technical and clerical duties under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  • Prepare, label, package, and stage prescriptions, including sterile admixtures, unit-dose, and prepackaged medications.
  • Generate and process batches for prescription preparation and shipment.
  • Enter and maintain accurate prescription, inventory, and shipment data in pharmacy systems.
  • Generate labels, pick lists, and packages in accordance with dispensing orders.
  • Coordinate with intake and billing teams to ensure insurance authorization before shipment.
  • Communicate shipment details with field staff and managers to ensure accurate delivery.
  • Receive, unpack, verify, and document incoming drug and supply deliveries.
  • Monitor outbound shipments to confirm delivery and file documentation accurately.
  • Perform and document quality assurance activities.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspaces.
  • Manage inventory levels, rotation, and returns in alignment with company goals.
  • Participate in training, quality meetings, and continuing education to maintain regulatory and clinical knowledge.
  • Prioritize competing demands, manage multiple tasks effectively, and seek guidance when appropriate.
  • Assist directly or coordinate appropriate assistance to ensure access to services for individuals with disabilities.
