About this role:
This position ensures the outgoing quality of product through the execution of inspection and testing plans for electrical components, subassemblies, and finished goods assemblies ranging from small control cabinets to industrialized modular buildings.
A day in the life:
Conduct inspections of all electrical installations, subassemblies, and finished goods on an ongoing basis.
Execution of electrical assembly, control wiring, power distribution wiring, and commercial wiring installation processes audits.
Assist or prepare testing and commissioning reports.
Document quality standards and specifications related to electrical installations and assembly. Collaborate with quality management to standardize and train personnel to the quality standards.
Ensure all work is executed per the approved standards and drawings.
Document material non-conformances found during inspections of work in process, finished goods, and/ or receiving inspection.
Collaborate with safety, engineering, and manufacturing teams to facilitate design for manufacturing to reduce scrap, delays of manufacturing throughput, and improve overall functionality of the finished product.
Ensure product designs comply with regulatory, commercial code, customer specifications, engineering standards, company practices & procedures.
Assist with the execution of tool calibration program with primary focus on electrical test equipment and ensure all items are within current calibration period and are functioning correctly before use.

Journeyman Electrician with at least 5 years of industry experience in that role, or 7 years industry experience in electrical assembly/ inspection required.
Previous exposure to Low and Medium voltage electrical installations including switchgear, power distribution, UPS, and protection devices.
A working knowledge IEC, NEC, NFPA, and IEEE electrical quality standards, practices, specifications, and NETA testing specifications.
A working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers, VFDs, HMI, MCC, and UPS are essential.
Ability to identify electrical components, hardware, and equipment.
Ability to read, understand, and trace electrical schematics. Troubleshooting skills strongly required.
Basic computer skills with Word/Excel experience. Scheduling software knowledge a plus.

Compensation Range:
Compensation will be paid in the range of $25-28/hr. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
