Within HelloFresh, the Planning team is committed to bringing scalability and sustainability to our operations, by taking a long-term view of the business, breaking down silos by taking a global optima approach to solving business challenges, and implementing industry best practices in our work. 

Reporting to the Senior Planning Manager, the Supply Planner will align priorities of stakeholders to ensure operational plans meet overall business objectives, as well as maximize efficiency and minimize costs in our in-house manufacturing and pick n’ pack processes through detailed and data-driven planning and scheduling techniques.

Lettuce share what this role will be responsible for

• Create 4-6 week rolling manufacturing and production plans -  based on demand plans, supply plans, inventory plans, shelf life, equipment capacities, throughputs, and other factors
• Leverage supply planning strategies including safety stock and economic order quantity in the creation of optimized schedules
• Create material requirements and bulk purchasing plan to support manufacturing plans
• Run weekly meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment, communicate any plan changes, and proactively address risks prior to production week
• Monitor plan and production performance to ensure accuracy, and identify opportunities / focus areas for improvement
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through analysis and recommendations

• 2+ years of relevant supply chain experience, in supply planning, demand planning, materials planning or similar roles 
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field
• Proficiency in computer applications/ software (Google Sheets, Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau)
• APICS CPIM or similar certifications considered an asset
• Data-driven: you can gather, organize, explore, and synthesize data into actionable insights to better inform operational decision-making
• Analytical: you use logic to think critically through complex problems -  identify opportunities, evaluate alternatives, and recommend the best course of action
• Intellectually curious: you have a desire to understand how and why things work, and to consistently challenge the status quo
• Detail-oriented: you possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and consistently demonstrate a methodical approach to all your work
• Independent and self-starter: you are driven and self-motivated to succeed in a high pressure, fast paced, and constantly changing environment
• Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments, while being able to prioritize, achieve objectives, and meet deadlines
