Software Engineer

Who we are looking for

We’re seeking a Software Developer who can bridge the gap between modern web development and production workflow automation. You’ll work across the stack, building and maintaining applications that drive both e-commerce and operational efficiency.

The right person is strong in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and SQL/Postgres, with some exposure to Shopify and AWS cloud development. You’ll thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment where you’ll make a direct impact on both the digital and operational sides of the business.

Responsibilities

• Application Development and Management - Oversee and execute all development
  initiatives related to proprietary internal and customer-facing applications, ensuring
  scalability, security, and performance.
• 
  E-Commerce Development - Create and customize Shopify storefront pages, optimize
  product display, and configure back-end product functionality.
• 
  AWS Management - Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot the company’s AWS cloud
  infrastructure, including server configurations, deployments, and cost optimizations.
• 
  Workflow Automations - Develop and maintain automation and system integrations that
  streamline operations across production and marketing departments. Identify
  opportunities for efficiency and implement solutions that reduce manual tasks.

Some Must-Haves

• Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Proficiency in SQL/Postgres
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (CDK, Lambda Functions, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver efficient technical solutions
• Team player with excellent communication skills

Nice to Haves

• Exposure to Go
• Experience with SST (paired with CDK)
• PDF generation tools (PDF Kit or similar)
• Shopify development 
• Familiarity with Google Merchant Center, Google Tags, SEO best practices
• Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop experience

Compensation

$100,000 – $120,000 per year
