Requirements
  • A high school diploma or general education development test (GED), and either two years of accredited college or university in engineering-related coursework or two years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, design principles, technical research, analysis and report preparation, and current office equipment and technology.
  • Knowledge of corrosion science.
  • Knowledge of maintenance planning practices.
  • Ability to perform calculations, read plans, specifications and drawings, use current office equipment and technology, problem solve, prioritize and multitask, communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing, establish and maintain effective working relationships, work independently and in a team environment, and operate computers and supporting applications.
  • Ability to learn to test and assess infrastructure and equipment.
  • Ability to learn and assist with maintenance planning processes and practices.
  • A valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent is required at the time of application and must allow driving during employment.
  • Applicants must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship for employment authorization in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in responding to operational technology cybersecurity alerts and coordinate with the Cybersecurity Operations Center.
  • Escalate alerts to subject matter experts, communicate alert statuses to stakeholders, and facilitate resolution of cybersecurity alerts.
  • Follow asset management policies and procedures to ensure the database contains only authorized assets and address any unauthorized assets identified.
  • Maintain and track spare hardware inventory for the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system.
  • Learn and assist with configuration, maintenance, and support for the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system.
  • Assist with analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system issues.
  • Learn and assist with deployment of operational technology equipment, including installation, patching, configuration, support, and maintenance.
