Have 5+ years of relevant experience in an analytics role performing analysis, writing SQL to model data and optimize queries and manage dashboards
Can apply software engineering best practices to planning, developing, testing, deploying and monitoring production-ready data pipelines
Comfortable with git based workflows and basic python scripting. A plus if you have experience navigating AWS tools such as s3 and redshift
Experience with ELT tools similar to FiveTran, StitchData, ETLeap or AirByte
Are adept at problem solving with data and bringing structure to unstructured problems
Know how to use statistical inference and craft storylines with data
Can influence and inspire action communicating with technical and business audiences

Own reporting and insights to support the success and growth of our provider network
Work closely with stakeholders across product, sales and operations to frame the problems, ask the right questions, and clearly present findings
Translate data needs to technical specs. Work with engineers to build data pipelines, create tests and alerts to QA and monitor data
Operate as a full stack analyst. Own creation of data models and build “source of truth” data sets, define metrics, build dashboards and data visualizations
Perform ad hoc analysis to investigate trends in metrics, better understand root causes and identify opportunities
Manage projects and prioritization in a dynamic environment

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer who has experience building trusted and powerful datasets to unlock critical insights for Solv. You will provide technical leadership wrangling data and thinking deeply about our business to produce actionable insights. You will own internal dashboards and customer-facing reporting built with dbt and Looker.

What you’ll do

You’d be great for this role if you:
