Job Description:

Accounts Payable and Treasury Manager

Abu Dhabi, UAE

 Parsons is looking for an experienced and meticulous Accounts Payable and Treasury Manager to join the EMEA team! Based in our office in Abu Dhabi you will lead the accounts payable and treasury function.

The selected candidate is responsible for overseeing the accounts’ payable and treasury function across the region. This role involves managing a team, ensuring accuracy in vendor payments, and confirming compliance with company policies and regulations.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide leadership to the accounts-payable and treasury team, offering guidance and reviewing performance.

• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Prepare and monitor cash forecasts to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.

• Manage banking relationships with various banking partners in the region and review banking fees to optimize costs and services.

• Monitor and manage the opening, renewals, and closure of bonds and guarantees, highlight any risks identified.

• Develop, implement, and maintain accounts payable and treasury policies and procedures.

• Partner with other departments (corporate and regional level) to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

• Co-ordinate with SOX, internal and external audit teams, provide necessary documentation and support.

What Required Qualifications & Experience You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/commerce.

• ACA, ACCA, or CPA equivalent required.

• Minimum twelve plus years of progressive experience with at least three years in a managerial role.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT rules, and accounts payable/treasury processes.

• Proficiency in enterprise resource planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication and people skills.
