- Supervise the receipt, review, and settlement of Medicare cost reports while ensuring that all Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requirements are met.
- Perform supervisory review of audit work papers completed by the team to ensure compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and other government auditing standards.
- Perform supervisory review of cost report acceptances and desk reviews to ensure timeliness requirements and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services standards are met.
- Plan, monitor, and budget all work assigned to the team, and evaluate and report results.
- Perform supervisory review of settlement packages to ensure that products meet Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services standards.
- Develop audit staff through on-the-job training and by preparing and presenting formal staff training sessions.
- Research issues and respond to provider and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requests in a timely manner.
- A bachelor's degree in any major.
- Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, or Certified Management Accountant certification.
