  • Hold a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
  • Have at least 2 years of clinical veterinary nursing experience.
  • Be confident and competent across both medical and surgical nursing.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate animal handling skills.
  • Have anaesthetic monitoring and patient care capabilities.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Remain calm and organised in a busy environment.
  • Have experience using RxWorks, which is advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Prepare for surgery and assist in the theatre.
  • Monitor anaesthesia and patient recovery.
  • Provide medical nursing and inpatient care.
  • Collect samples and perform pathology testing.
  • Administer medications and treatments.
  • Provide emergency and critical care nursing support.
  • Perform dental procedures and provide dental patient care.
  • Maintain hygiene and infection control standards throughout the clinic.
  • Provide customer service and communicate with clients.
  • Support reception and administrative duties when required.
  • Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.
