Salary range: $61,009 - 98,224/Hour
Essential Functions:

Provides lead technical assistance to other staff and clients; facilitate application-to-close for homeowners seeking repair to their homes; process and underwrite loan applications for the Special Purpose Home Repair Program; conduct preliminary interview with applicants; verify applicant eligibility through mortgage and employment verification forms and other supporting documentation regarding income to ensure program eligibility.
Researches courthouse records for verification of ownership and clear title; prepare and record legal documents; conduct settlements for the Special Purpose Home Repair Program; process draw request to ensure timely payment to contractors.
Provides technical assistance to single-family sponsors using federal funding; answers phone and email inquiries; sends out information to customers about the Down Payment Assistance Housing Program; provides information to customers, real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys, regarding single-family housing programs.
Maintains and reviews files for refinance and deed cancellations in accordance with departmental guidelines; completes deed cancellations for clients; evaluates the need for housing and other services in the community; implements programs to meet the needs in the community by informing citizens of the availability of housing programs; plans, develops and implements procedures with other county departments for the housing program.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration or related degree required; five years previous work experience in affordable housing initiatives, knowledge and understanding of HUD Federal guidelines, or similar experience preferred; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Specific License or Certification Required: Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license.
