- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent skills and experience, is required.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Salt, or Puppet is required.
- Experience with system monitoring tools such as Sensu or Nagios is required.
- Experience working in and commitment to a 24/7 production environment is required.
- Understanding of UNIX/Linux operating systems is required.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Ruby, JavaScript, or Python is required.
- Experience with system logging tools such as Logstash or Splunk is required.
- Experience configuring and deploying Ruby and Node.js web application stacks is required.
- Automate and provision infrastructure using Chef and Jenkins.
- Assist with managing AWS Cloud services, including EC2, ELB, and S3.
- Assist with managing the Cloud Foundry platform as a service environment.
- Perform systems and application monitoring and load testing.
- Collaborate with the software development team.
- Provide on-call support for production operations.
