Requirements
  • Degree in computer science, machine learning, applied statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering or a related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in a data-driven role
  • Experience building machine learning models and pipelines in Python
  • Experience with common libraries and frameworks (e.g., NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Airflow)
  • Experience with software engineering concepts and best practices
  • Experience working in a cloud environment with one of the major cloud providers
  • Appreciated, but not a prerequisite: Experience with simulations for FEA/CFD
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with simulation engineers, machine learning engineers, and customers to develop an understanding of the physics and engineering challenges
  • Build innovative models to predict the behavior of physical systems using machine learning and deep learning techniques
  • Own the delivery of data science workstreams
  • Design, build, and test data pipelines for machine learning
  • Discuss the results and implications of work with colleagues and customers
  • Contribute to internal R&D and product work
