Requirements
  • 5+ years working as an electrical or avionics technician
  • Ability to fabricate aircraft harnessing from wiring schematics and drawings to industry standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620
  • Ability to create and support the generation of maintenance documents and procedures
  • Familiarity with the use of MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experienced with standard hand tools and measuring devices (multimeter, calipers, crimp tools, etc.)
  • Experience with test and safety practices for low-voltage and high-voltage systems and components
Responsibilities
  • Fabricating, assembling, and maintaining the vehicle's electrical systems
  • Working side-by-side with the engineering team to develop seaglider prototypes through design, fabrication, integration, and test
  • Providing direct feedback and implementing solutions to unique challenges in the development of an advanced all-electric maritime vehicle
  • Ensuring designs consider integration, assembly, and maintainability
  • Supporting significant mechanical assembly work
  • Having a keen eye for safety and safe practices in the operation of aircraft and marine systems

REGENT develops and manufactures all-electric, passenger-carrying, wing-in-ground-effect vehicles for coastal travel, offering zero-emission, ultra-low-altitude transportation with a 180-mile range at 180 mph. The seaglider operates within a wingspan of the water's surface, leveraging existing dock infrastructure and is designed to service routes up to 180 miles with existing battery technology and up to 500 miles with next-gen batteries.
