Requirements
  • 3+ years working on an in-house corporate tax team or at a reputable tax advisory firm
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field
  • CPA (earned or in progress)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, etc
  • Ability to prepare indirect tax compliance forms
  • Familiar and current on indirect tax laws, tax court decisions, and state / local developments
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting timely and accurate filings for US sales and use tax compliance
  • Support the day-to-day responsibilities of the tax team, including reconciliation workstreams, planning projects, preparing audit-ready documentation, and performing tax research
  • Prepare and review a range of filings including; property tax, business tax, gross receipts, and similar compliance forms
  • Assist with audit defense and support, specifically related to US indirect state and local tax audits
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Maintain key relationships across multiple functions, including, Accounting, FP&A, Legal,Strategy, Peloton for Business, and other core business partners
