Responsibilities
- Manage monthly reporting and annual budget for SG&A companywide. This role partners with internal department leaders to provide transparency, trending, and analysis of operating costs
- Partners with IT and accounting on the tracking of capitalizable IT projects. This includes building and maintaining schedules to track activity, ensure proper coding, recognition, and communicating of variances to the recent forecasts
- Build and maintain models to forecast aircraft maintenance expenses over multi-year periods. This involves large data sets and regular interaction with our pricing and technical groups
- Prepare and communicate monthly variance analyses of forecasted/budgeted maintenance events versus actual maintenance events
- Provide cost support and analysis for monthly management reporting and identify trends and recommend improvements accordingly
- Ad-hoc projects as assigned
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, statistics, economics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in an analytical role
- Effective communication across various teams, including management and peers
- Experience with financial modeling and large data sets
- Solid understanding of financial statements and cash flows
- Advanced critical thinking skills
- Ability to create new processes and documentation
- Ability to handle multiple projects and a willingness to adapt as business needs evolve and willingness to adapt as business needs evolve
- Solid communication and presentation skills
- Preferred:
- Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or similar data tools
