Calendly throws its hat into meeting note-taker circus.

Calendly throws its hat into meeting note-taker circus. Note-taking has quickly turned into a critical part of the productivity space, with many workplace software companies chasing the dream of having AI automate tasks based on action items created from meeting transcripts. Calendly, known for its scheduling and meeting booking software, is now entering the fray with a note-taking product. Like others in the space, Calendly's note-taker also joins meetings, records the audio and video, and transcribes it, after which it can generate a summary and action items, and draft follow-up emails. The company said it is also testing a Granola-like feature that uses system audio to transcribe meetings. Calendly is also planning to release an AI assistant named Callie that taps the company's existing meeting and scheduling stack to set up meetings, check peoples' availability, and surface context from prior meetings. (Meeting note-taking startup Read AI launched a similar email-based assistant earlier this year.) Calendly CEO Tope Awotona said the company wanted to automate workflows for its top users: people in outward-facing roles like sales and marketing whose workday is typically inundated with meetings. But the competition in this space is intense. On one end, you have meeting note-taking apps like Granola, Fireflies, Read AI, Otterand Fathom; on the other, productivity companies like Notion, ClickUp, and Wispr have also added note-taking assistants and features to their suites. Still, Awotona says there's big opportunity in automating tasks after the meeting is transcribed. "There's a litany of note-takers, and all of them do a great job of recording and transcribing notes. But a lot of work happens after the meetings. And we think that really that's where the opportunity for our note-takers to be efficient," he said. Given that some companies in this space, like Otter and Granolaare facing allegations of violating privacy, Awotona said Calendly's note-taker will inform users that their meeting is being recorded. The recording assistant sends a message in the chat to inform everyone of its presence and activity, and any user can ask the app to leave the conversation. It can even inform people before the meeting starts that the call will be recorded, thanks to its integration with Calendly's scheduling system. Vaiz releases version 2.90 with bulk edits and persistent collaboration; TaskTracker.best publishes updated review.

Vaiz releases version 2.90 with bulk edits and persistent collaboration; TaskTracker.best publishes updated review. Vaiz has released version 2.90 introducing bulk edits across tasks and milestones, marking its tenth numbered release since September 2025 NY, UNITED STATES, August 18, 2026 / EINPresswire.com / - Vaiz, a Cyprus-based work management platform, has released version 2.90 on July 5, 2026, introducing bulk edit capabilities across tasks and milestone cards. Following the release, independent review publication TaskTracker.best has published a refreshed in-depth Vaiz platform review that documents the version 2.90 additions alongside a review of the ten numbered releases the Limassol-based platform has shipped since accelerating to a two-week release cycle. Senior reviewer Imogen Patel notes that Vaiz's release cadence has become one of the defining characteristics distinguishing the platform from established competitors. Where incumbents such as Asana, monday.com, and ClickUp typically deliver major feature updates on quarterly or biannual cycles, Vaiz's two-week rhythm has translated into consistent shipping of both foundational features and quality-of-life refinements throughout the first half of 2026. The refreshed review documents the substantive additions delivered across the 2026 release train. Version 2.86, released on May 14, added a native GitHub integration and interactive 3D models in the editor. Version 2.87 on May 25 introduced an OAuth-based Model Context Protocol server that connects Vaiz to AI assistants including Claude. Version 2.88 on June 8 delivered a redesigned first-run experience and inline editing for subtasks. The recent 2.90 release adds bulk edits across task and milestone cards and improves the collaboration engine to keep workspaces current when users return to the app after periods away. TaskTracker.best has also expanded coverage of Vaiz's positioning against incumbent work-management platforms. An updated overview of Vaiz free plan and pricing tiers documents the free tier for teams of up to ten users, the Pro plan at $5 per user per month, and the Premium plan at $9 per user per month, alongside the on-premises Enterprise edition for organizations with data residency requirements. The publication's editorial framework prioritizes what Patel describes as "day-three usability" - how a work-management tool behaves once teams have moved beyond onboarding templates into real workload. The 2026 refresh scores Vaiz against three signals: notification volume during a typical workweek, mobile editing viability for non-admin users, and search relevance in workspaces containing more than 500 tasks. A dedicated Vaiz vs Asana comparison for cross-functional teams addresses the most common procurement question surfaced by readers evaluating Vaiz for a first work-management standard against Asana's incumbent installed base. TaskTracker.best is affiliate-supported through referral partnerships with several evaluated vendors and maintains editorial independence over comparison content. About Vaiz Vaiz is a Cyprus-based work management platform that combines tasks, documents, and team collaboration in a single workspace. The platform includes a built-in AI assistant, embedded Figma, Miro, and other design tool viewers, and a Migration Center supporting one-click transfers from Jira, Asana, Trello, YouTrack, Linear, and Notion. PageProof unveils PreProof(TM), giving creative teams better first proofs and fewer review rounds.

PageProof unveils PreProof(TM), giving creative teams better first proofs and fewer review rounds. PageProof's new PreProof(TM) capability helps designers catch spelling, brand, and compliance issues while they're still designing - before a proof is ever created. AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND - August 12, 2026 - PageProof, the industry-leading online proofing platform for enterprises, creative agencies, and marketing teams, today announced the launch of PreProof(TM), a new AI-powered capability that applies the familiar "preflight" concept to the creative review process. Powered by PageProof Intelligence(R), PreProof(TM) brings quality and brand checks earlier into the creative process, helping designers resolve issues before reviewers ever see a proof. The result is better first proofs, fewer review rounds, and faster approvals. PreProof(TM) helps designers catch preventable issues before a proof is even created and sent out for review - saving significant time. Why quality checks should happen before review. Most designers are familiar with preflight - the process of checking a document for technical issues before it's sent to print or production. But preflight has traditionally focused on output readiness, not review readiness. Every issue that surfaces during the review process, however small, creates additional work: comments, revisions, another proof version, and another round of review. Multiplied across projects, these preventable issues become a significant drain on time and productivity. PreProof(TM) changes that. While a designer is still refining a design, PreProof(TM) analyzes the work to help identify any ssues with spelling and grammar, brand guidelines, packaging requirements, accessibility, legal compliance, and other team-defined standards. By resolving these issues early, designers give reviewers more time to focus on meaningful creative and strategic feedback rather than preventable corrections. Key benefits of PreProof(TM). Fewer proof versions: Catch issues before a proof is created, reducing unnecessary revisions and review rounds. Faster approvals: Better first proofs mean less back-and-forth and quicker sign-off. Sharper reviewer focus: Enable reviewers to concentrate on creative and strategic feedback rather than preventable corrections. Broader quality coverage: Check spelling and grammar, brand guidelines, packaging requirements, accessibility, legal compliance, and more. Checks tailored to your team: Use PageProof Intelligence(R) agents configured around your organization's standards, guidelines, and requirements. Built into the design process: Run checks without leaving the tools where creative work is being produced, starting with the PageProof plugin for Adobe InDesign. Availability. PreProof(TM) is available in the PageProof plugin for Adobe InDesign and will be rolled out across additional PageProof design plugins, including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Express, Figma, Canva, and Microsoft Office. PreProof(TM) UI summary example of how a file was reviewed using a Brand Agent with 4 issues flagged automatically. About PageProof. PageProof is the leading online proofing platform for reviewing and approving creative work. It enables teams to securely share any type of file, gather feedback, and manage approvals - all in one place. With powerful workflow automation, advanced proofing tools, and AI-powered capabilities, PageProof helps teams move creative work forward faster and with greater accuracy. PageProof integrates with tools including Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Figma, Microsoft Office, Asana, monday.com, Airtable, and ClickUp and delivers exceptional return on investment, as recognized in customer reviews on G2. Built for enterprise, PageProof offers patented triple-layer encryption, robust security controls, and scalable infrastructure to support teams worldwide.

Kyle Coleman promoted to Global VP, Sales & Marketing at ClickUp.

Kyle Coleman promoted to Global VP, Sales & Marketing at ClickUp. ClickUp has promoted Kyle Coleman to Global Vice President, Sales & Marketing, expanding his leadership responsibilities across two functions that are increasingly interconnected in the modern B2B technology landscape. In his new role, Coleman will oversee sales and marketing at a global level, bringing the two functions closer together around customer acquisition, demand generation, go-to-market strategy, and revenue growth. The move comes as B2B technology companies continue to rethink traditional approaches to sales and marketing. Longer buying cycles, multiple digital touchpoints, and increasingly informed buyers have made closer alignment between marketing and sales a strategic priority. For marketing organizations, the shift means greater emphasis on connecting brand, content, demand generation, and customer engagement with measurable commercial outcomes. Sales teams, meanwhile, are increasingly relying on marketing intelligence, customer data, intent signals, and digital engagement insights to identify and prioritize opportunities. Artificial intelligence is accelerating this transformation. B2B organizations are adopting AI for prospect research, personalization, content development, lead qualification, forecasting, and sales enablement. The growing use of these technologies is also creating demand for stronger coordination between marketing and sales teams. Coleman's expanded remit reflects this broader evolution. Combining sales and marketing leadership can provide organizations with a more unified view of the customer journey, from initial awareness and consideration through conversion and retention. The approach also highlights the changing role of revenue leadership within technology companies. Rather than operating as separate functions with distinct goals, sales and marketing teams are increasingly expected to work from shared data, common priorities, and coordinated go-to-market strategies. For ClickUp, the appointment comes as the company continues to operate within a competitive productivity and collaboration software market. The combined leadership structure places greater emphasis on aligning market strategy with sales execution and customer demand. Coleman's promotion underscores a wider trend across B2B technology: the growing convergence of sales and marketing as companies seek more connected, data-driven approaches to customer acquisition and revenue generation.
