Join Saputo Dairy Australia as av Heavy Diesel Mechanic based out of our workshop in Allansford, VIC. This full-time, Monday - Friday permanent position offering you the opportunity to play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of milk tanker trucks.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Maintain and repair a fleet of up to 45 heavy and multi-vehicle combination milk tanker trucks.
• Collaborate with tanker drivers and fleet coordinators.
• Assist with vehicle breakdowns, diagnose and repair issues, and manage milk flow meters.
• Ensure the safe transfer of milk back to the depot.

About You

• A minimum Certificate III in Mechanical Trade.
• Experience in a similar role within the transport industry, particularly with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• A current HC/MC driver’s license (desirable but not essential).
• Experience with both automatic and manual trucks, especially Volvos, is highly regarded.
• The ability to work independently, handle pressure, and maintain high standards for the fleet.
