Award-winning TiMi Studio Group seeks a Technical Art Director to develop a AAA, open-world game using Unreal’s latest technology. The project will be released on multiple platforms, with an objective to reach a global audience. As a Technical Art Director, your role will be to lead the development of content creation pipelines to achieve our creative vision.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with other members of the core team to define a unique, forward thinking and achievable creative vision
• Develop scalable art content production pipeline and tools that support our creative vision
• Empower and support a team of artists to build content efficiently and consistently
• Facilitate communication between multiple disciplines to reach common goals
• Assess existing tools + occasionally design custom ones to support art pipelines and workflows and
• Stimulate innovation across multiple visual aspects
• Define performance and memory budgets for each component of the game, optimize data to maximize quality
• Represent our studio’s core values and create a safe and inclusive environment for everyone
• Anticipate technological advancements and stay up to date on market trends to define our best practices + share them with our studios and the industry.

What we are looking for?

• At least ten years of professional AAA game development experience
• At least having shipped two AAA open world titles, including one during the current generation of video games (PS5/XBOX SERIES X)
• Strong technical proficiency with game development tools and technology
• Team player with an ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, mentorship, and presentation skills
• Share a passion to innovate, especially in the design and development of open world games
• Art, technical art, or programming experience, or other related experience + leadership experience
• Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5 is a plus
• Critical thinking, time management, and organizational capabilities
• Attention to detail, curiosity, resourcefulness, and plenty of flexibility
