Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree is required. Equivalent years of experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years related CPG sales experience is required.
  • Experience within the food/beverage industry is strongly favored.
  • Working knowledge of US retailers & Dairy industry.
  • Candidate must have strong administrative skills and the ability to develop working relationships with all major functions within the company.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills are necessary.
  • Working knowledge of syndicated data platforms.
Responsibilities
  • Work with the Division Manager to develop appropriate sales strategies and build the long-term plan as part of the company’s business plan.
  • Draw up, arbitrate, validate and implement category development plan, ensuring that it is applied and put in place with key accounts.
  • Work closely with Trade Marketing to develop and implement sales plans at all customers that will meet stated goals of the company.
  • Develop and monitor KPI’s for both brokers and customers.
  • Responsible for effective management of all broker activities, respond to both competitive pressures and changes at the customer level.
  • Review market activity on a weekly basis using IRI or designated company tools, identify new profitable business and customer opportunities and develop strategies by facilitating communication between key accounts and Lactalis commercial team.
  • Work closely with appropriate senior sales managers in the development of Customer selling stories by providing support and information as required.
  • Submit timely and accurate reports of activities and appropriate expenses as required.
  • Participate in Trade Shows and attend key client/stakeholder meetings to build on existing relationships and strategize on opportunities.

Danone has entered into an agreement to sell its Swedish probiotic fruit juices brand, ProViva, to the French dairy group Lactalis.
