- Hold a current California Licensed Vocational Nurse license.
- Have previous nursing experience.
- Maintain current CPR certification.
- Have experience with electronic medical records or clinical software.
- Be able to confidently oversee and support a caregiving team.
- Provide hands-on nursing care and clinical support primarily to Assisted Living residents and support Independent Living residents as needed.
- Lead the weekend team and oversee caregivers to help ensure resident care, staffing, communication, and day-to-day operations run smoothly.
- Administer medications and treatments and monitor resident conditions.
- Identify and communicate changes in resident needs and follow up appropriately.
- Support care planning, documentation, and electronic medical records.
- Respond to emergencies and provide hands-on support when needed.
- Provide guidance and direction to caregivers, ensuring quality care and follow-through.
- Promote resident safety, independence, and overall well-being.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or Assisted Living setting.
