Requirements
  • One year of Quality Management System-related experience, education, and/or training is preferred.
  • General knowledge of tube and duct manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of the AS9100 standard.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic addition, subtraction, and multiplication skills.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to assess facts and develop conclusions.
  • A conscientious and responsible approach, attention to detail, a results-driven approach, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Access to the facilities and controlled technical data is subject to applicable International Traffic in Arms Regulations and Export Administration Regulations requirements, including U.S. person status or appropriate licensing.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct internal audits, documentation, data analysis, control of non-conforming material, authorization of customer returns, and support overall product quality in manufacturing.
  • Compile data, validate compliance with quality objectives, identify needs for improvement and preventative action, and assist in maintaining the Quality System and its supporting processes.
  • Maintain the Quality Management System by developing and revising procedures, work instructions, forms, charts, and quality assurance reports.
  • Conduct internal audits in compliance with the Audit Schedule, review documentation for scheduled audits and applicable areas, complete reports and checklists, train personnel in the audited area, and work with the Quality Director or designee to ensure Quality Management System compliance.
  • Prepare and complete customer surveys by collecting, analyzing, and reporting data.
  • Control documents, verify certificates of conformance, and scan and index documents into the system.
  • Maintain compliance of calibrated assets, issue purchase orders, schedule calibration testing, coordinate scheduled equipment calibration, monitor calibration schedules, work with calibration contractors, review preventive-maintenance requirements, monitor calibration metrics, initiate and report out-of-tolerance results, and support investigations of equipment found out of tolerance.
  • Provide support to Environmental Health and Safety activities.
  • Control non-conforming material using inspection methods to determine whether non-conforming conditions exist.
  • Perform root-cause and corrective-action analysis as required.
  • Conduct daily root-cause and corrective-action meetings with manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance personnel to determine product disposition.
  • Create reports to monitor trends.
  • Authorize customer requests for product returns, conduct investigations, coordinate corrective-action meetings, and provide containment and corrective-action responses to customers.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Finance to credit customers when necessary.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate.

Senior plc awarded multi year Airbus contract for aerospace components. Senior plc (LON:SNR), an international manufacturer of high technology components and systems, has announced today that it has been awarded a multi-year contract by Airbus for the design, qualification and manufacture of various highly engineered Aerospace Standard parts for fluid conveyance applications. The initial production will supply components for both dual and single aisle commercial aircraft platforms, with significant further potential in the spares and repairs markets. Delivery will begin in Q1 2026, from Senior's facilities in Europe. This contract highlights Senior's expertise in designing and producing complex, highly engineered, aerospace components, as well as its ability to secure major business with leading airframers. This award reinforces Senior's strong and extensive experience in product design and qualification, and continued investment in advanced manufacturing technologies. These new product lines will further enhance Senior's capabilities in pressed, formed, and highly engineered standard components. Commenting on the award, Launie Fleming, CEO of Senior Aerospace: "Our teams in Europe have been working hard to develop and qualify these highly engineered standard parts that have multiple applications across the commercial aircraft business of Airbus.
