- Monitor and respond to the fire alarm system according to protocol and assist with fire alarm testing as required.
- Monitor facility operational systems and notify appropriate personnel.
- Document all public safety and operations center activity.
- Prepare reports and other documentation clearly, concisely, and accurately.
- Use verbal de-escalation techniques and methods to de-escalate hostile situations.
- Assist patients, visitors, and staff by providing information and other public safety assistance.
- Participate in training and certification sessions and maintain all necessary certifications.
- Prior dispatching, emergency communications, or campus/healthcare public safety experience.
