Requirements
  • Five to seven years of experience in a high-volume, investor- or client-facing role in financial services, ideally in wealth management, private banking, fund operations, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for representing the team in writing and on the phone.
  • Experience managing CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar with discipline and accuracy.
  • A process-oriented mindset, including building systems, documenting effective practices, and improving processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously without sacrificing quality or follow-through.
  • Genuine interest in venture capital, investing, and the investor experience.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
  • Own the operational infrastructure supporting the Relationship Management team, including email support, call scheduling, Calendly management, follow-up coordination and tracking, and portfolio research.
  • Maintain clean, complete, and up-to-date investor records in the CRM, including activity logs, contact information, relationship notes, and interaction history.
  • Prepare investor call materials and portfolio summaries for Relationship Managers before investor interactions.
  • Ensure that tasks and follow-ups are completed across a team managing hundreds of active investor relationships.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for investor inquiries that do not require senior Relationship Manager involvement.
  • Manage post-call follow-up tasks, including documentation, routing investor requests, and tracking resolution.
  • Identify investors who may need attention or outreach and surface them to the relevant Relationship Manager.
  • Own and continuously improve Relationship Management workflows, playbooks, and process documentation.
  • Track team activity and key performance indicators and support reporting for the Executive Vice President and senior leadership.
  • Identify inefficiencies in the investor experience or Relationship Management operations and develop solutions.
  • Adopt artificial intelligence tools to improve work speed and quality and contribute to the team’s artificial intelligence capabilities over time.
  • Participate in investor calls with Relationship Managers while building knowledge and confidence.
  • Develop toward conducting investor calls independently.
  • Contribute to investor education and engagement conversations as expertise grows.
Desired Qualifications
  • Background in financial services with direct exposure to high-volume investor or client communication.
  • Prior Financial Industry Regulatory Authority licensure, such as Series 7, 63, or 66.
  • Experience supporting senior-level professionals in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with investor onboarding, relationship management workflows, or fund operations.
  • A track record of taking on increasing responsibility and growing within roles.

MIT spinoff Apollo Atomics raises $31M to build compact nuclear reactors in factories instead of megaprojects

Apollo Atomics, an MIT spinoff backed by Y Combinator, has raised $31 million in a substantially oversubscribed seed round to commercialise factory-built pressurised water reactors. The funding, led by FCVC with participation from Y Combinator, Telesoft Partners and others, will accelerate testing, manufacturing and regulatory approval with the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The company has redesigned the steam generator to achieve power density an order of magnitude higher than conventional designs, reducing reactor footprint by roughly 40 times. This enables factory construction, truck transport and deployment in under 24 months. Apollo is developing three reactor systems ranging from 10 to 300 megawatts electric for data centres, industrial facilities and utilities. The company reports over 20 gigawatts of signed letters of intent in its commercial pipeline.
