What You’ll Do:
- Apply your mechanical expertise to maintaining a high-speed can manufacturing line
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure manufacturing equipment reliability.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify all industrial mechanical systems
- Use precision measuring tools to work with close tolerances up to .0010
- Work with management to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
We Need You To Have:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 or more years of experience as an industrial mechanic.
- A can do, will do attitude.
- A desire to operate and maintain Silgan's high-speed industrial can lines by performing and documenting quality checks and measurements.
