Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise networking, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing technical teams
  • Proven expertise in enterprise routing, switching, wireless, private LTE/5G, SDwan, cloud networking, SAASE and firewall technologies
  • Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and experience with on-premises to cloud transformation initiatives
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Azure Network Engineer Associate
  • VMware SD-WAN by VeloCloud Certification
  • Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP)
Responsibilities
  • Drive the strategic direction of our enterprise-wide network infrastructure, including on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, to ensure robust connectivity and performance
  • Develop and enforce network principles, standards, and policies to drive scalability, security, and reliability across all network operations
  • Drive innovation in network design by leveraging technologies like SD-WAN, wireless, LTE, private 5G, SAASE, Azure networking components, and enterprise firewalls to enhance security, performance and agility
  • Oversee the uptime, monitoring, performance, security, and availability of enterprise network infrastructure, including SD-WAN, wireless, private LTE/5G, SAASE, Azure networking, and firewall systems
  • Manage network configurations, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments to support hybrid cloud strategies
  • Lead initiatives to optimize network performance, including bandwidth management, latency reduction, and secure connectivity for all users and applications
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely updates, patches, and lifecycle management of network hardware and software
  • Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture through coaching, skill development, and performance feedback
  • Act as a hands-on leader, stepping in to troubleshoot complex network issues or support critical tasks when needed to maintain operational excellence
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure network infrastructure supports application deployment, performance, and security requirements, promoting seamless integration
  • Maintain network governance frameworks to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations, such as data protection and cybersecurity policies
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits of network infrastructure to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities
  • Enforce network segmentation, access controls, and data protection policies to safeguard sensitive information and systems
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation network diagrams and change management processes for all network-related activities to ensure transparency and compliance
  • Evaluate and implement emerging networking technologies, such as AI-driven network operations and automation tools, to enhance performance, security, and efficiency
  • Lead initiatives for network observability and proactive maintenance to anticipate and resolve issues before they impact operations
  • Continuously assess network architecture for optimization opportunities, ensuring scalability and readiness for future organizational needs
