Mechanic

$2000 GRADUATED SIGN-ON BONUS

Starting pay is $31.08 per hour-plus additional wage premiums

Shift: 6AM to 6PM - Thurs, Fri, Sat, & alternating Wednesdays

What you’ll do:

• Utilize your mechanical knowledge in maintaining a high speed coater line
• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify all mechanical systems
• Use precision measuring tools and work with close tolerances up to .0010
• Work with management to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity

We need you to have:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalency
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to pass a mechanics test 
• Desire to operate and maintain Silgan's coater lines by performing and documenting quality checks and measurements
