Requirements
  • Relevant academic degree (e.g. bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related field and a Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred)
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Several years of proven experience as an HR Business Manager in a business and sales environment, with expertise in operational HR-related processes and tools
  • Expert in developing HR strategies that align with business objectives and drive employee engagement, as well as aligning HR policies and procedures with the organization’s vision and culture
  • Proven ability to work effectively and lead teams in a global, culturally diverse environment with strong communication, collaboration, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical thinker with problem-solving and process improvement skills and the ability to work at all levels within the organization.
Responsibilities
  • Acts as the global strategic HR business partner for the SBU (Strategic Business Unit) Ophthalmology global management team, providing professional HR consulting services and actively driving the transformation and change process towards operational excellence and performance.
  • Drives strategic and operational HR decisions, e.g. in the areas of recruitment, people development, succession planning, performance management, mergers & acquisitions and job evaluation.
  • Drives the development and implementation of HR strategy and supports organizational changes and staff appraisals.
  • Coaching managers in talent and leadership development, managing succession planning processes.
  • Supports (strategic) workforce planning based on business needs through HR analyses.
  • Facilitates the implementation of HR processes and programs with global and regional reach and ensures alignment with business priorities.
  • Manages interfaces with local HRBMs, country HR organizations and central HR functions.
  • Drives the harmonization and standardization of structures and processes across all locations.
