- A high school diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience is required.

- Frequent keyboard use and data-entry ability are required.
- The role requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive foot, leg, hand, and arm movements.
- The role requires occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping, and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing 25–50 pounds.

- The role requires vision and depth perception for near and far distances and the ability to identify and distinguish colors.
- The role requires hearing and speech sufficient to share information orally and hear alarms or malfunctioning machinery.
- Gather information from patients and enter it into the appropriate database.
- Seek appropriate resources to resolve issues about the type, date, or location of prescribed procedures.
- Schedule patient procedures to efficiently use the patient's time and clinical resources.
- Coordinate and communicate schedules.
- Assist with activities related to insurance pre-certification and authorization.
- Provide patients, participants, or their representatives with counseling regarding pre-service requirements and instructions.
- Perform clerical and reception duties associated with patient registration.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Preferred computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Preferred customer-service skills.
