Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 7 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, engineering, supplier or program quality OR a Master’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, engineering, supplier or program quality OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 9 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, engineering, supplier or program quality
  • Must have aerospace manufacturing and supply chain experience
  • Must have experience working with engineering documents/drawings and basic aerospace quality requirements
  • Must have experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
  • Must have SAP experience
  • At minimum, an active DoD Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs.
Responsibilities
  • Lead 3 technical teams of 50-60 direct-report engineers
  • Provide and coordinate supplier support for NGAS programs and the Delivery Management Team (DMT) organization
  • Provide up to daily communication guidance to the Common Products Procurement Organization and other IPT organizations regarding supplier base issues and activities
  • Develop and track progress of GSC goals for the team and individuals
  • Create and manage functional documents such as PrOP(s), organizational charts, and team calendars.
  • Manage the Supplier Technical Execution organization labor and travel budgets provided by all supporting programs as well as seek out new opportunities to support NGAS and beyond
  • Generate weekly progress reports of all supplier-critical issues to management
  • Evaluate supplier’s capability(s) when called upon for capacity issues, process control activities and make needed recommendations regarding utilization of the NGC supplier base back to the GSC organization
  • Lead various supplier engagement activities and be a reliable and responsive POC for all GSC and Northrop Grumman leadership
  • Create and implement team and homeroom priorities based on GSC Program Management needs.
  • Ability to work various special projects in support of the greater organization needs
  • Develop mentorship and training plans and prioritize teammate individuals’ growth
