Naval Aviation Analyst

As a Naval Aviation Analyst, you’ll support the client through data collection, analysis, organization, and normalization. You will document the findings of studies and prepare recommendations for implementing new systems, procedures, or organizational changes. You’ll collate information into meaningful tools and reports. You will develop and analyze monthly metrics data, reviews, and analyses geared toward improving business processes. You’ll perform data management of database tables, data elements, reports, and other entities contained in reporting systems. You will analyze project requirements, including program scheduling, critical path analyses and project support, and resource requirement determination. Finally, you will fully participate in impact studies, cost and benefit analyses, and dependency models, and employ appropriate project tracking methodologies.

You Have:
- Experience collecting, aggregating, normalizing, and standardizing aviation data to improve efficiencies in accomplishing work and creating visualizations for leadership analysis
- Experience using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including PowerApps, Power Automate, and SharePoint Lists, and troubleshooting the tools with the development team
- Experience with Naval Aviation databases and data analysis tools, including OOMA and DECKPLATE, Continuous Monitoring Program (CMP), Aviation Management Supply and Readiness Reporting (AMSRR), Tableau Data Visualization, and Advana or Jupiter
- Knowledge of Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI to develop basic charts
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis leveraging Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI, and collaborate on corrective action analysis
- Ability to generate professional content for Microsoft PowerPoint briefs that are shared fleet-wide
- Ability to be available outside of normal business hours for staff support
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- Experience as a Naval Aviation Maintenance Administrationman (AZ), Logistics Specialist (LS), Logistics Manager, or Logistician
- Experience using SharePoint 2013, 2016, 2019, or Office 365 site collections
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
