Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Medical Assistant certification is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required.
  • The position requires working two nights per week on varying days from 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure that proper supplies and equipment are available.
  • Notify the manager of defective or malfunctioning equipment.
  • Call patients into examination rooms and prepare them for examinations.
  • Obtain and record patients' height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, and pain scores.
  • Verbally notify the provider of abnormal results.
  • Perform phlebotomy.
  • Perform electrocardiograms, vision screenings, and hearing screenings.
  • Collect specimens.
  • Complete assigned tasks as directed by the provider or nurse.
Desired Qualifications
  • Medical office experience is preferred.
