Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10-15 years' experience in Retail Leasing
  • Knowledge and understanding of retail leasing process
  • Knowledge and understanding of space planning and tenant improvement process
  • Knowledge and understanding of real estate law, finance, and accounting
Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of leasing professionals
  • Execute the marketing and leasing strategy for assigned properties
  • Negotiate leasing transactions with key, large scale clients & tenants
  • Maintain property visibility with the local brokerage and prospect community
  • Continuously sourcing new opportunities for tenants via active marketing and proposals
  • Stay abreast of comparable properties, their pricing and competitive positions
  • Manage the leasing process, including but not limited to: Negotiates leases, renewals, and expansions
  • Works with legal counsel to prepare lease documents
  • Coordinate space planning with prospective tenants
  • Participate in the acquisition due diligence process
  • Budget expected property rental rates and leasing costs
  • Work with Development/Construction and the Asset Manager
  • Participate in acquisition process due diligence for new asset acquisitions within assigned portfolio area
  • Maintain stacking plans
