Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Urology or an equivalent board.
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Urology.
  • Must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted state medical license.
  • Must hold an active Drug Enforcement Administration registration.
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat urological conditions, including urolithiasis, urinary tract infections, incontinence, and male infertility.
  • Perform specialized urological surgeries, including cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, prostatectomy, and nephrectomy.
  • Manage the diagnosis and treatment of cancers of the kidney, bladder, prostate, and testes, collaborating with oncology and radiation teams.
  • Provide consultations explaining diagnostic results, surgical risks, and postoperative recovery plans to patients and their families.
  • Manage long-term follow-up for chronic urological conditions and monitor postoperative patient progress.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the Electronic Health Record system and comply with medical and legal standards.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience or fellowship training in a subspecialty such as robotic surgery, urologic oncology, or pediatric urology.
  • Strong surgical acumen and commitment to using minimally invasive technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration within a multidisciplinary surgical environment.
