GSTC has an opening for an Infrastructure Team Officer who will work very closely with the GSTC Chief Operating Officer and other managers in overseeing the operational aspects of GSTC.  We are looking to place this person in Albany, New York.

Goldman Sachs Trust Company

An essential component of Goldman Sachs' private wealth management offering, The Goldman Sachs Trust Company, N.A. ("GSTC") is a limited-purpose national bank providing world-class trust, estate, and charitable administration services to ultra-high-net-worth clients across the United States.

GSTC leverages the global resources of Goldman Sachs to deliver integrated fiduciary management and administration, as well as comprehensive best-in-class investment management.  Our team of dedicated fiduciary professionals collaborate closely with Goldman Sachs' Private Wealth Advisors ("PWAs") to provide our clients with superior service, while observing our responsibilities as an independent, professional fiduciary.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL 

• Work very closely with the GSTC Chief Operating Officer and other managers in overseeing the operational aspects of GSTC
• Serve as a key liaison between GSTC and PWM Operations/Technology/Controllers using extensive job experience gained in one or more of these groups
• Handle Corporate Governance responsibilities for GSTC Board and Committee meetings (paralegal type work). 
• Work in conjunction with various CWM product groups to respond to client needs 
• Oversee quarterly and annual regulatory filings and other regulatory initiatives
• Lead projects related to new business development and strategic planning
• Analyze GSTC financials primarily for expense management
• Participate in ad-hoc projects that improve efficiencies in GSTC processes and workflows

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree required
• 4+ years of relevant experience at Goldman Sachs in Operations, Technology and/or Regulatory Controllers 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment 
• Strong analytical and organizational skills 
• Detail-oriented 
• Creative thinker that is intellectually curious
• Strong knowledge of Windows technology (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
