Position overview:
This role sits in our high performing data and analytics team. The team is a multidisciplinary team of client effectiveness analysts (which is where this role sits), data science and data engineering.
Our Intermediate Analysts work with our Senior and Group Directors in the Analytics Team to run the analytics function of our clients’ businesses. In this role you will have the opportunity to work across different client businesses and across an broad array of analytics tasks.
Roles and responsibilities
- Take ownership of analytical output across a range of clients and provide account teams with useful insights and recommendations to drive client success
- Design and support the execution of test and learn programmes that deliver incremental value for our clients in the retail and travel sectors
- Use your analytical mindset to solve ad hoc analytical requests as they arise. For example, media budget optimisation or forecasting KPIs
- Support the team with building marketing-mix models and delivering key insights such as return on investment
- Create PowerPoint presentations and Power BI visualisations for internal stakeholders and clients, as required
- Utilise coding skills to streamline processes and drive efficiency gains across all project stages
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience working in marketing analytics or a related analytical field in another sector
- Degree educated in a quantitative subject preferred; such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or other applied Social Sciences
- Experience working with data and deploying statistical techniques such as regression, A/B tests and/or other test and learn techniques is essential
- Data manipulation using Python and variants of SQL
- Experience with Databricks desirable, but not essential.
- Ability to build dashboards in PowerBI
- Marketing-mix modelling experience is desirable, but not essential
- A clear communicator with confidence to explain complex analysis to a non-technical audience
- Willing to work alone and in project teams but is a self-starter
