Requirements
  • You have a strong understanding of infrastructure technologies such as virtualization, containerization and cloud computing
  • Experience running applications at scale in Kubernetes
  • You have familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems
  • You have a grasp on networking principles and protocols
  • You have experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools
  • Experience handling critical incidents for production systems
  • You have experience working with product and data engineering teams
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Ruby or Bash. Experience with Go is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Design and build new tools to automate the software release process
  • Improve the monitoring of our systems by identifying gaps and/or inefficiencies and proposing solutions
  • Work closely with other platform engineers, product developers and analytics engineers to find, define and resolve performance and scalability bottlenecks
  • Plan the growth of Wrapbook’s infrastructure
  • Participate in on-call rotation to respond to incidents that impact Wrapbook’s availability and provide support for product engineers with customer incidents
  • Use your on-call shift to prevent recurrence of incidents

It helps film and TV production companies, commercial producers, and other entertainment professionals manage their payroll efficiently and in compliance with industry regulations. The platform allows users to collect timecards through an app, which generates smart timecards based on factors like pay rate and overtime, thus simplifying the payroll process. Users can also upload and store important project documents, making it easier to manage information about cast, crew, and vendors. Wrapbook differentiates itself by offering a cloud-based solution that integrates with popular accounting software like QuickBooks, allowing for seamless financial management and reducing the administrative workload.
