Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
Responsibilities
  • Training and onboarding of internal and external production workforce, and continued support of local ongoing training and development programs
  • In collaboration with Production Supervisors, develops and implements plans for training operators to be effective within a compliant and defined scope of manufacturing operations
  • Implement training programs that help ensure that Alcon's workforce can meet its current and future business objectives and deliver quality products and services that meet customers' needs
  • Work with the area SME's and training staff to ensure that all aspects of the training curriculum are met
  • Manages technician training within a specific shift or functional area to ensure currency, completeness, and efficiency of training
  • Supervise training efficiency through analysis of variation in outcomes, audits, and training related CAPA efficiency
  • Determine training objectives by evaluating existing training versus current regulatory requirements and business objectives
  • Using adult learning principles and instructional system design (ISD), partners with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design, develop, deliver, and maintain effective manufacturing process training and SOPs
  • Develops and maintains level of proficiency for all manufacturing operations within the area of accountability (shift or functional)
  • Role will span multiple shifts, requiring schedule flexibility based on training needs
