Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of revenue recognition and QTC processes.
  • Proven experience with system administration, including implementation and maintenance (e.g., Salesforce, Zuora, Netsuite, or similar platforms).
  • Project management experience and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bring a positive, optimistic, can-do approach to all of their tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for general revenue accounting operations, including daily review of deals, monthly and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.
  • Lead the preparation of financial statements, revenue account reconciliations, and reporting for management and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Manage and administer the company’s QTC systems (HubSpot, Maxio, etc), ensuring alignment with accounting policies and financial reporting requirements.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the QTC process end-to-end, including quoting, order management, billing, and revenue recognition workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, operations, and IT, to ensure smooth integration of QTC systems with other business tools.
  • Lead the implementation of the new QTC system, ensuring they meet business needs and compliance requirements.
  • Define business requirements for system configurations, manage system upgrades, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across the QTC process through routine audits, reconciliation processes, and system testing.
  • Train and support accounting and finance teams on QTC system processes and updates.
  • Continuously assess and improve QTC processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Partner with the IT and sales teams to ensure the seamless flow of information through the QTC lifecycle, identifying and implementing automation opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain QTC-related documentation, including process flows, policies, and user guides.
  • Develop KPIs that will provide insight for management regarding QTC processes.
