Requirements
  • Excellent driving fundamentals with a clean driving record and safe driving habits. Performance driving or limit handling experience preferred
  • Comfortable with repetitive vehicle manoeuvres
  • Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with hand tools and an aptitude for software skills
  • Familiarity with ADAS/Autopilot systems and their sensors
  • Basic knowledge of fundamental vehicle systems and how they work
  • Comfortable driving engineering vehicles which may contain prototype software and hardware
  • Advanced skills for safe driving of trailers with heavy loads
  • Excellent attention to detail and high situational awareness
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Very good English speaking skills (Essential)
Responsibilities
  • Safely conduct vehicle-level testing of our ADAS system through analysing data, triaging software issues, and troubleshooting abnormal vehicle behaviours using Tesla in-house designed proprietary software tools
  • Communicate test results with engineers and be on-call for clarification if necessary
  • Support design and fabrication of vehicle engineering tools
  • Support technicians in vehicle preparation by installing relevant ADAS test equipment
  • Maintain and document test vehicle condition, coordinate repairs/retrofits as necessary
  • Maintain confidentiality with respect to prototype hardware and software, unreleased vehicle programs, or any other Tesla internal information
  • Support any other vehicle engineering testing as needed
