Requirements
  • 20+ years of experience, proven record of consistently overachieving sales quota
  • A consistent track record to deliver on results & priorities, an ability to work effectively in a cross-organization, geographically distributed environment, and exercise leadership
  • Deep experience in the Retail and/or Consumer Goods Industry and Software and Solution Sales, including Cloud based and SaaS Solutions
  • Must have led a business with annual revenue more than $500M and more than 100 employees
  • Ability to develop and maintain senior relationships, and a high degree of responsiveness and integrity
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting and developing high performance talent
  • A passion for sales with very strong presentation skills aligned with a successful proven experience of solution sales.
Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with and act as an executive sponsor to top customers including CEOs, CMOs, CTO’s, CIOs through a proper and implementable go to market plan, which includes channel ecosystem, partnerships and direct sales
  • Demonstrate industry expertise, thought leadership, grasp of macro-economic environment and understanding of customer landscape to provide strategic advisement to customers, partners, and Adobe’s product organization
  • Lead, coach and mentor a high performing sales team and ensure the execution of sales leads both self-sourced, via Marketing and Partner eco-system
  • Establish vertical strategy and guidance to a broad ecosystem of resources. Drive cross-functional process improvement and development of best practices through collaboration and feedback
  • Establish strong practices for Customer Retention and Value Realization working closely with the Adobe Customer Success Team
  • Leverage cross-functional relationships with key members of the Executive leadership team in Engineering, Product Development and Consulting
  • Be the voice of Adobe for DX and drive adoption of DX products in newer market areas and newer industry segments
  • Be a world class operator of the business including forecasting, deal inspection, and business reviews.

3D Scanning App Polycam Gets Backing From Youtube Co-Founder

Polycam, an app that uses a smartphone’s sensors to capture 3D scans of objects, is raising cash from prominent investors including Adobe and YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley.Polycam today announced that it closed an $18 million Series A round led by Left Lane Capital with participation from Adobe Ventures, Hurley and others. Chris Heinrich, Polycam’s co-founder and CEO, says that the capital will support new 3D editing and collaboration features, training AI models for rendering 3D objects and new market expansion.Polycam was founded in early 2021 by Heinrich and Elliott Spelman, who’d met while working together at Ubiquity6, a startup developing mobile 3D scanning and AR tech. Both Heinrich and Spelman believed that 3D capture, enabled by hardware like the lidar sensor on more recent iPhones, could unlock 3D content creation for the masses.“One of the challenges and opportunities of the 3D modeling space is that the core technology for 3D capture is far from perfect, and it’s not nearly as easy as snapping a photo with an iPhone,” Heinrich told TechCrunch in an email interview. “The good news is that advances in AI-driven 3D capture, when paired with the type of data that Polycam has in droves, are set to dramatically improve quality and ease-of-use over the next few years, which will unlock more use cases and increase adoption.”Polycam offers a suite of 3D capture and modeling tools, each designed to address a different use case.Image Credits: PolycamOn iPhones with a lidar sensor, Polycam can scan a user’s surroundings, like the rooms in their home, in 3D.
