Assist the Industrial Engineering department in successfully achieving manufacturing goals and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. The Industrial Engineer Intern will receive assignments from the Manager of Manufacturing, or an assigned representative, and will be encouraged to contribute ideas and suggestions.

- Source or design better tooling/equipment
- Manage project work assigned by the manager
- Provide input for manufacturing fixtures and tooling
- Assist with plant layout and workstation design
- Learn and use ERP (JDE) manufacturing software
- Learn and use Windchill/Creo
- Interests will include Torque Tools, High Voltage Systems, Cranes and Tooling Fixtures
- All other duties or projects as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Student working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or other related Engineering field
- Graduation date of May 2026 or later
- Willing to travel or relocate to Murfreesboro, TN for the Summer of 2025 (relocation assistance provided for those with a permanent address of greater than 50 miles from Murfreesboro, TN).
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
- Working knowledge or exposure to JD Edwards
- Exposure to Lean and 5S Concepts
- Experience in Manufacturing/Assembly
- Experience with AGVs
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with Heavy Equipment

Pay Range:
$18.00 - $37.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate’s experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
