This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

Reporting to the Global Provision Senior Tax Manager, you will provide support for the global reporting process by calculating the global tax provision and ensuring the accuracy of worldwide tax accounting positions You will assist with the U.S. tax reporting process and tax operations, including process and policy development and management, technology and automation, and other special projects. As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will work to support a fast-growing, globally growing company whose mission is to help small businesses make their mark on the world. You will collaborate with teams in Global Finance and Tax to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and achieve the goals and priorities of the GoDaddy organization.
What you’ll get to do...
- Be part of a team of tax professionals to account for all aspects of global tax accounting and reporting, including calculating the effective tax rate, current and deferred tax provisions, taxes payable, and return to provision adjustments
- Prepare quarterly and annual worldwide tax provision
- Application of income tax reporting guidance (ASC 740) to different fact patterns to determine the appropriate U.S. GAAP accounting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable calculation models in order to appropriately record quarterly financial statement impact of tax positions
- Assist in the preparation and review of the tax sections of the company’s SEC reporting and footnote disclosures (10Q and 10K)
- Assist with tax provision analytics that are communicated to management and external auditors
- Research and monitor issues and changes in federal, state and international tax law and accounting for income taxes
- Implement process improvement initiatives for more efficient tax provision and compliance processes
- Assist with the income tax accounting process for various transactions (i.e.: stock and asset acquisitions)
Your experience should include...
- 3+ years tax accounting experience with private industry and/or public accounting
- Strong understanding of Tax and GAAP accounting principles
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly in Excel
- Ability to gather, prioritize and analyze data
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
