Penguin Ai launches prior authorisation and medical coding apps on Snowflake Marketplace

Penguin Ai has launched Prior Authorization and Medical Coding solutions as Snowflake Native Apps on Snowflake Marketplace. The healthcare AI company's solutions automate administrative workflows by applying AI directly to clinical documentation, claims data and medical policies within Snowflake. The solutions use AI-based agents to review documentation for completeness and medical necessity, generating audit-ready recommendations that improve turnaround times and accuracy. Built to run natively on Snowflake, the apps eliminate data movement and integration complexity. Prior authorisation and medical coding traditionally require manual review of complex clinical records, contributing to delays and administrative burden. Penguin Ai's solutions enable health plans and providers to automate documentation review, policy alignment and coding quality checks directly within their Snowflake accounts, helping reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.

Snowflake appoints Jonathan Beaulier as CRO as Morningstar expands financial datasets on marketplace

Snowflake appointed Jonathan Beaulier as chief revenue officer on 31 March 2026, whilst Morningstar expanded its investment datasets on Snowflake Marketplace for institutional clients. The moves strengthen Snowflake's position in financial data workflows and place an experienced insider in charge of monetisation. The Morningstar expansion demonstrates how third-party content can deepen usage in key verticals like financial services. If Snowflake replicates this pattern across other data providers and industries, marketplace activity could become a more significant driver of consumption growth and customer retention, helping offset potential slowdowns in migration-driven revenue. However, Snowflake's dependence on hyperscaler infrastructure pricing remains a risk. The company's narrative projects $7.8 billion revenue by 2028, with some analysts forecasting $10.1 billion by 2029.

Snowflake scraps $10B revenue target, cuts growth guidance from 30% to 22%

Snowflake has been hit with a securities class action lawsuit after withdrawing its $10 billion product revenue target for 2029 and slashing growth guidance from an expected 30% to 22%. The lawsuit covers shareholders who purchased SNOW stock between 27 June 2023 and 28 February 2024. On 28 February 2024, Snowflake disclosed that product efficiency gains were creating a 6.2% to 6.3% annual revenue headwind. Iceberg Tables technology, previously promoted as a growth driver, was now acknowledged as a factor causing customers to move storage out of Snowflake. The company guided fiscal year 2025 product revenue to approximately $3.25 billion, representing 22% year-over-year growth. Shares fell $41.72, an 18.14% decline, following the announcement. The lead plaintiff deadline is 27 April 2026.
